A Los Angeles porn star has become the latest woman linked to Tiger Woods as polls revealed the golf champ's popularity has plummeted since the scandal began.
Adult film star Holly Sampson, 36, was named in the New York Daily News as being another of Woods's alleged lovers, bringing to nine the number of potential mistresses now embroiled in the affair.
Sampson, a veteran of several pornographic films including Descent Into Bondage and The Diary Of A Horny Housewife, has not spoken publicly about her connection to Woods.
The report comes as a US poll showed the golfer's popularity has plunged by 24 percent in the wake of the scandal.
The CNN/USA Today/Gallup poll revealed only 60 percent of people viewed Woods as "favourable", down from 84 percent in June.
His "unfavourable" rating, meanwhile, has climbed 9 percent to 25 percent over the same interval.
The golfer's freefall in popularity and increasingly lurid claims of infidelity pose the biggest threat so far to Woods's lucrative endorsement deals, which are said to comprise some 90 percent of his income.

Meanwhile, gossip website TMZ reported Woods and his wife Elin Nordegren — who has remained silent throughout the scandal — met with a "mysterious suited man" at their home in Florida yesterday.
Woods, Nordegren and the man arrived in three separate cars for the meeting, which lasted two-and-a-half hours, the website reported.
The golfer's lawyer declined to comment to the website about the man's identity.
The marriage between Woods and Nordegren, a former Swedish model, has come under even more scrutiny in the last 24 hours following reports another of Woods’s alleged lovers claimed the relationship was a sham.
The woman, an unnamed cocktail waitress from Florida who claims to have had a two-year fling with Woods, claims the marriage was “only for publicity”.
Another unnamed woman who Woods supposedly met at a club in New York has also been reported to be among his lovers.
Woods has yet to be seen in public since the furore erupted when he crashed his car on November 27 outside the Florida home where he lives with his Nordegren, a former Swedish model, and their two children.
After the crash, celebrity gossip websites speculated that Nordegren chased Woods with a golf club and smashed the rear windows of his vehicle, causing him to lose control.
Now TMZ is also reporting that Woods bombarded alleged lover Rachel Uchitel with text messages in the days after the crash saying he wanted to be with her.
Uchitel, the first woman publicly linked to Woods after being seen checking into Melbourne’s Crown Casino, has reportedly been seeing Woods for two months.
The world's number one golfer ended his silence over the affair allegations last Wednesday.
"I have let my family down and I regret those transgressions with all of my heart," Woods said, but added he did not want to elaborate on his shortcomings in public.
"Personal sins should not require press releases and problems within a family shouldn't have to mean public confessions," he said, attempting to draw a line under a scandal that has dented his squeaky clean image.
