As much of America and the world focused on Super Bowl XLVI, Sin City hosted its own celebration of American football – the Lingerie Bowl.
As the name suggests, the racy full-contact sport matches female athletes wearing little more than their underwear.
Unlike the hefty kit men wear in the NFL, these ladies wear only bicycle-style helmets and light pads for protection against the bumps and bruises.
The 2012 event in Las Vegas saw the Los Angeles Temptation beat Philadelphia Passion 28-6.
