New Zealand have bounced back from the loss of No.1 Marina Erakovic to a freak injury with a 3-0 victory over Turkmenistan in their latest Fed Cup tennis tie in Kazakhstan.
Both singles matches had a 6-0 6-0 scoreline, with Emma Hayman defeating Guliahan Kadyrova and Emily Fanning downing Jahana Bayramova.
In the doubles, Hayman teamed up with Abigail Guthrie to beat Anastasiya Prenko and Jenneta Halliyeva 6-4 6-1.
World No.74 Erakovic is heading home for treatment after slipping on the floor at her hotel and sat out the team's 2-1 loss to Hong Kong.
New Zealand, who beat Vietnam 3-0 on the opening day, have a 2-1 record going into their final pool match against Singapore at the Asia/Oceania Group 2 event in Astana.
The winners of the two pools play off for a place in the region's Group 1 next year.
